How this site is built to be usable, what still needs work, and how to tell us about a barrier.
FlowerBomb DC intends this site to be usable by everyone, including people using screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, magnification, or reduced-motion settings.
What is in place
- A skip link to main content on every page.
- Keyboard-operable navigation, cart, product details and dialogs, with focus moved into dialogs and returned to the trigger on close.
- Visible focus styling on interactive elements.
- Text alternatives on meaningful images; decorative artwork is hidden from assistive technology.
- Every animation, including the announcement bar and product video, is disabled or reduced under
prefers-reduced-motion. - A light theme with a higher-contrast palette.
Known limitations
This section should be kept honest and current. Record any issue that is known but not yet fixed, with the plan and date for fixing it. An accessibility statement that claims full conformance without an audit is itself a compliance risk.
Standard we are working to
WCAG 2.2 Level AA. Formal conformance has not been independently audited; state the audit date and auditor here once one has been done.
